"Seek out that particular mental attitude which makes yu feel most deeply and vitally alive, along with which comes the inner voice which says, "This is the real me." and when yu have found that attitude, follow it."
Teaching philosophy:
My first teaching assignment started in 1969 at Middletown High School in Middletown, New York. My assignment was as a Metal Shop and Print Shop teacher. As my experiences interacting with children increases, I have set a few goals for myself:
• To practice active listening
• To treat each student as an individual
• Accept nothing but a students personal best
• Having an atmosphere of an absence of threat
• Provide adequate class time to complete all assignments
• Provide meaningful content in all assignments.
On a personal note:
I love riding my motorcycle-a Yamaha V-Star.
I love to scuba dive, especially in warm water. Since having my son certified, I have started to enjoy cold water diving in the Monterey Bay. I will be teaching Judo as an after school club. I am a massage therapist on the weekends at a spa in the Napa Valley.
